The Metropolis of Ilion, Acharnes and Petroupolis is a metropolis under the jurisdiction of the Church of Greece and is located in the suburbs of Athens, Greece.

History

The metropolis was one of the two new metropolises formed by dividing the Metropolis of Attica in 2010. Initially, after its establishment the metropolis was under the temporary leadership of the Metropolitan of Megara) as Vicar until a permanent hierarch was assigned.
