The list of the Hierarchs of the Diocese of Novgorod are those bishops, archbishops and metropolitans with Novgorod as part of their title. Novgorod is among the oldest dioceses in Russia. The list of hierarchs begins with the establishment of the diocese in the late tenth century, as Christianity came to this area that became known as Russia. During its existence the ruling hierarch of the diocese has had different titles due to changing political and territorial responsibilities given to him.
