The diocese is currently under the leadership of His Grace, the Right Reverend [[Benjamin (Peterson) of San Francisco|Benjamin (Peterson)]].  He was consecrated as a [[bishop]] on [[May 1]], 2004, and installed as the ruling bishop of the diocese of the West on [[October 2]], 2007.

The Diocese of the West is a diocese of the Orthodox Church in America. The diocese is currently under the leadership of His Grace, the Right Reverend Benjamin (Peterson). He was consecrated as a bishop on May 1, 2004, and installed as the ruling bishop of the diocese of the West on October 2, 2007.
