Consecration may refer to three different liturgical acts:
- Consecration of the Eucharist at the Divine Liturgy
- Consecration of a bishop to make a priest into a bishop
- Consecration of a church to bless a church for use
- Icons consecration
- Consecration of the liturgical objects
- Consecration of the liturgical vestments
- Consecration of a person (the monastic life)
