Apostle Urban

Life

The holy, glorious, all-laudible Apostle Urban is numbered among the Seventy Apostles. Along with the Apostles Amplias, Stachys, Narcissus, Apelles and Aristobulus he assisted the Apostle Andrew of Twelve Great Apostles. St. Andrew ordained St. Urban Bishop in Macedonia. He died a martyr.
