The holy, glorious, all-laudable Apostle Cleopas is numbered among the Seventy Apostles. It was to St. Cleopas that the Lord appeared on the road to Emmaus (Luke 24:13-33). The Church remembers St. Cleopas on October 30.

Cleopas is the younger brother of Joseph the Betrothed and the father of Symon the Zealot.
