All-Merciful Savior Monastery is blessed by God as the only male monastery in Washington state. It was founded in California in 1986 by Archimandrite Dmitri of blessed memory. In 1988, under the God-protected leadership of Hieromonk Tryphon, the Monastery moved to Vashon Island, Washington.
Recent History
At the 2008 Monastery pilgrimage, over 100 faithful and clergy from eight Seattle-area parishes joined together to celebrate the Monastery feastday of the All-Merciful Savior.
How to Support the Brotherhood
The Monastic community sells "Monastery Blend Coffee" and "Monastery Tea" for year-round enjoyment. All products are fair trade. They are available in select Seattle area stores as well as online.
