Style Manual mirrors?

I must confess that I don't understand why you've created mirrors of sections of the style manual. The reason that OrthodoxWiki:Style Manual is protected (not publicly editable) is because it's essentially the work and purview of the administration. I'm concerned that these editable mirrors, besides creating dfficulties keeping all relevant mirrors updated, may potentially engender some confusion regarding what the official standards are.

I realized I was risking offending or causing concern. I sincerely apologize. My response is to the fact that the Style Manual is really long and could probably benefit from being modularized. I, for one, get lost in a long sea of text. Having the Style Manual broken up, as a series would prevent from having to scroll up and down as much.

Wikipedia uses a somewhat similar approach for their Manual of Style by creating supplementary pages to their style guide. For instance, they have a page to discuss the styling for biographies, similar to the fact that we have styling that has to do with the way people articles should be written.
