I am a 66 year old convert to Orthodoxy, having been baptized in 1988. Although raised a Catholic, and having tried to remain a Catholic throughout college, I finally gave up and, like so many others, spent years spiritually wandering.

By God's grace, I now serve at Holy Dormition Orthodox Church in Santa Rosa, CA. We are under Metropolitan JOSEPH of the Bulgarian Diocese of the USA Canada and Australia.

About twenty years ago, my wife and I started St. Michael's Orthodox School (stmichaelschool.us)as a ministry of our parish. We closed the school in May, 2014.

My interests center around Orthodox Christian education and the defense of the traditional Orthodox understanding of creation. I have written on both topics and would be pleased to share insights on OrthodoxWiki.
