Born in Rotherham, S.Yorkshire, England on 27 April, 1948. Educated to University level (Masters). Raised in Protestant faith, member of Congregational Church and participant as lay preacher in a Youth Lay Preaching program. Proposed as Junior Deacon while at university studying for first degree but felt I was not ready. In 1980 visited Crete on holiday and moved here in October of 1986, where I am still living, in the city of Chania. Baptised into the Greek Orthodox Church on 11 December, 2005 at the Holy Church of Ayios Panteleimonas, Halepa. Baptism performed by Father Dimitrios and godmother is Manouela Arolithianaki. Work as teacher of English as a Second Language at the Zachariou English Institute, Iroon Polytechniou 32, Chania. Divorced with 2 grown-up sons.
