Welcome to OrthodoxWiki!
Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Please note that OrthodoxWiki is always in development, so not everything works quite right yet. You can help, though!
OrthodoxWiki is a community-edited encyclopedia of Orthodox Christianity. Articles are created and edited by our members, and so everything that we do here is subject to review and revision. The result is a true consensus product, with every interested editor contributing his own knowledge and writing skills. As such, when you feel that criticism of an article is warranted, we encourage you to join in and fix it! Don't worry about breaking anything or doing something wrong—the other editors here are happy to jump in and help you learn.

Do you have a source for the merger of Washington with New York and New Jersey and the retirement of Archbishop Peter? These changes don't appear to be reflected on the official page yet - or maybe I just missed them? Also, there is a linked mention of Metropolitan Herman at the beginning of the article which was not changed. Perhaps his article, instead of being titled Herman (Swaiko) of Washington and New York should be Herman (Swaiko) of All America and Canada? --magda 08:24, 2 May 2005 (CDT)
Hi Magda ... the source is as follows, read down after the selection of Archimandrite Alejo as bisop-elect of the Mexican Exarchate:
As to other changes, that's the beauty of wiki ... they can be done by others who are more proficient.

Patriarch of Jerusalem
I've also been following the story about Patriarch Erinaios of Jerusalem (I went to the official website of the Church of Jerusalem to get the spelling) on google news. Google news allows you to change some of the modules based on a search. I added a module which searches for the word Orthodox so I can follow stories I'm interested in. This allows a reader to get more information (breadth and depth) than just reading one story (and many different ways to spell the Patriarch's name). Just thought you might find that information useful. --magda 07:58, 6 May 2005 (CDT)
Sea Cliff parish
Yes, I read that the parish in Sea Cliff was indeed the subject of some controversy, but I couldn't find specifics on when or if the parish switched jurisdictions. Do you know any? —Dcn. Andrew talk random contribs 14:41, 3 Jun 2005 (CDT)
