Kevin Scherer

Father Kevin Scherer is the Executive Director of the Orthodox Christian Fellowship, the official campus ministry of SCOBA.
After graduating from San Diego Christian College in 1990 with a Bachelor of Arts in Theology, he went on to receive a Master of Divinity from Saint Vladimir's Orthodox Theological Seminary in 2002. During the next four years, Fr. Scherer was the pastor of St. John's Antiochian Orthodox Church in Orinda, California. While there, he established a national teen program, Orthodox Youth Outreach, whose stated purpose was to encourage youth to live out their faith through Christian service to others. He was appointed Executive Director of OCF in August 2006.
Fr. Kevin and his wife, Robin, are the parents of three children: Hannah, Julia, and Clare.
